Registration is free. Officials must be at least 14 years old. No previous experience is required.
You may already have a REMS account
If you have logged in to REMS to sign annual consents for your swimmer, you already have an account. Use that same login to register as an official—do not create another account.

Registering as an Official
Officials register with Swimming Canada each season. Begin with the path that matches your REMS account, then complete the remaining steps.
Which Registration Path Should I Use?
Already have a REMS account? Log in using your existing account—including the account you use to complete your swimmer’s annual consents—and select Register/Renew → Self-Registration: Officials.
New to REMS? Use the new-registration link above and follow the prompts to create your account and register as an official.
SiGN IN/ CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Sign into REMS or create your account.
Select the Official
Choose the person who is registering as an official from the drop-down menu or add a new official, if the person you're adding isn't listed. Officials must be at least 14 years old.
Review Your Information
Check that your personal details and contact information are complete and current.
Complete Your Consents
Review and complete all required annual consents.
Submit Your Registration
Submit the registration for club review. Your status will show Awaiting Approval while it is being reviewed.
Club Approval
Once your registration is approved by the club, your status will change to Active.
Getting Started
What Happens Next?
Once your registration is approved, you can access the Learning Management System (LMS), complete officiating clinics, and begin volunteering at meets. New officials are welcome, and training and support are provided.
